Description
Two photographs of a sugar beet refinery in Garden City. This was the only sugar beet refinery in Southwest Kansas at the time, according to the Dodge City Daily Globe. The photographs show a train unloading the sugar beets at the refinery, and a worker - identified as F. F. Latshaw - standing among the sugar beets at the plant.
